Homemade Valentines Coasters

We're not done with Valentine’s Day decorating ideas. Not yet :).

 Here is another inspiring suggestion for a romantic decoration. This day inspires me to fill the whole world with a bright red hearts. Maybe it's possible, but let leave this idea for another time. Just for now:).

Today I will show you how to make coasters in the shape of hearts. And because love is always complicated, we will make our hearts of woven paper.

 I'll start with the materials you need:

1.       Colored paper (I used white and red).

2.       Glue.

3.       Scissors.

4.       Widely clear tape.

Cut from the paper rectangles with size 4 cm. 10 cm. (or more).

 Fold it in the middle (longitudinal). Do it with all pieces of paper.

 Now start wovening the paper, and glue it at the same time.

 It should become a shape of square. Now draw a heart shape on it.

 Cut with zigzag scissors. Stick on both sides with tape. Cut out the excess tape. It is ready:).

 Now you will see hearts every time you raise your cup :).
