Homemade Yogurt
Hello!
Recently we talked with friends about all stabilizers, coloring agents and all sorts of other artificial things that we eat daily. We thought about what foods can prepare yourself, not to buy from the store. One of the easiest things to do is yogurt. Here's how it's done:
Ingredients:
Milk (Required homemade).
Yeast (a few tablespoons of yogurt containing Lactobacillus Bulgaricus).
Quality products are a bit difficult to find, but you find them you've done the hard work :)
Method:
Boil the milk. Put it in jars.Wait for it to cool to 38C or until you can hold your finger inside without being too hot or cold.Put 150 ml. milk 1 tablespoon yeast and mix well. Close the jars and cover them with a towel. Leave to stand for 12 hours. We have succeeded from the first time :).
Tip: Leave a few spoons of homemade yogurt in the freezer to use it next time. This will save you searching yeast.
Now we have yogurt as they did our grandmothers. Garnish it with fruit, jam or something optional. Nice snack. :)
